Our beautiful daughter, sister,  and friend to many. Loved and missed by everyone who ever knew her.
Whilst out celebrating her 20thbirthday at Destiny night club in Watford  with her friends Nicola collapsed and could not be resuscitated.

Nicola did not die from alcohol, or drugs, Nicola’s heart suddenly stopped beating. Why? We do not know, we are still searching for an answer. As to why a beautiful young girl who was so loud, vibrant gorgeous funny and so full of life die without reason?

The Trust dedicated in Nicola’s memory, will help to raise funds for Papworth Hospital, Electrophysiology Research Fund- Researching Sudden Cardiac Death in young people. Our aim is to raise £25,000 for Papworth Hospital to help with their research. Although young healthy people are dying from this silent killer, unfortunately the government does not recognise the urgency. There are many parents around the UK who have lost a child to a sudden cardiac death, like us are in need of an answer as to why their child has died and need to know if other siblings could  be affected.

12 healthy young people are dying every week from a result of a Sudden Cardiac Death 12 more families lives ruined. It may be too late for Nicola and other families,but if further research is undertaken Dr Andrew Grace -(Department of Biochemistry University of Cambridge) and Papworth  Hospital Electrophysiology research  fund -will be able to identify those who are at risk and can prevent another young death.

Our first aim is to kick start by raising  £25,000 for Papworth Electrophysiology research   fund –all future  proceeds from donations and fundraising events will continue to be given to Papworth  Hospital Electrophysiology research   fund – Research into Sudden Death in the young.
